At Plant Seed Series Shop, we take as much care in packaging your plants and gardening supplies as we do in growing them. However, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. This policy outlines our process to ensure your gardening experience remains fruitful.
Our Return Philosophy
Just as we nurture our rare fruiting plants and medicinal herbs with care, we want every transaction with our nursery to grow your gardening passion. If any item doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll work with you to make it right.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Items must be requested for return within 15 days of delivery
- Plants must arrive in their original condition with intact root systems
- Gardening tools and supplies must be unused and in original packaging
- A copy of your order confirmation or receipt is required
Non-Returnable Items
To protect our community of gardeners, certain items cannot be returned:
- Organic fertilizers & soil amendments (due to agricultural regulations)
- Opened seed packets (to prevent cross-contamination)
- Custom or special order tropical plants (grown specifically for your order)
- Any item not in its original condition (damaged or missing parts)
Return Process
Follow these steps to return an item:
- Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your return request
- Provide details including your order number, item(s) for return, and reason
- Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Package carefully – plants should be repacked in their original containers with moist soil
- Ship back using the carrier we specify (return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility)
Exchange Process
For exchanges (subject to availability):
- Follow the same initial steps as returns
- Specify the replacement item you’d prefer from our current inventory
- We’ll calculate any price difference and arrange shipment once we receive your return
Refund Information
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except in cases of our error)
- You’ll receive an email notification when your refund is processed

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your citrus trees, tropical plants, or gardening tools arrive damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damaged item and packaging
- We’ll arrange for replacement or refund without requiring return shipment
International Returns
For customers outside the United States:
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
- We recommend using tracked shipping for plant returns
- Refunds will be issued in USD and may take longer to process
